The big guy turned 2 today. He has been soooo excited about his birthday. He has been singing Happy Birthday to himself all week.
And since he is an Angry Birds maniac (and I mean maniac) we did an Angry Birds cake.
Since I am not one of those who plays Angry Birds, I had to go to the source...the girls. They explained how the game works and helped me come up with what it should look like. Cody helped too, but was at work when the real work had to be done.
So this is what we came up with.
Don't mind all the mess in the background.
The girls and I had a lot of fun making it.
Willis seemed to enjoy it too. I thought for sure he would dig in to those M&M's on the cake but he didn't even touch his cake and ice cream. All he wanted was the Angry Birds toys that were on the cake. (Which, by the way, I got for free from Amazon using my Swagbucks).
He also got these plush toys from Aunt Tyler. He kept setting the pig up on a box and throwing the red bird at it. It was pretty comical.
