Where Has All My Money Gone? Oh, That's Right--The Shed

Here is the first picture I took of the shed. Looks good so far. We were so glad to have the walls standing. It seems it took to get even that far. This was going to be Cody's project but we quickly realized that it was more than a one-person job. So I got to do all the grunt work like holding up the walls. They look lighter than they are--it was a good workout for my arms.

This happened to be the first day of June and our shed building was cut short because of snow. Grrr!!!

This is what the kids did while we were working on the shed.

The plan for the shed is to have the back half be for storage and the front half is going to be a playhouse for the kids...hence, the short door (short as in almost 6 ft tall). There will be windows on both sides of the door we just haven't cut them out yet because we don't want to give it away to the girls yet.

Thank goodness for Uncle Duane and his son Nathan for coming and helping with the roof. That was definitely the hardest part of the whole shed.
Starting to look more finished--just not quite there yet.
